Blogging has become the new medium in which to communicate with many different types of people. People use blogging to do different things. You can blog about politics, romance, personal issues, and many other subjects. A big plus Risdahl says is that “while blogs are not the best place to get professional help, the intimate details you can get from other people going through similar experiences are invaluable.” Blogging is a matter of personal expression, and what might be something that you want to get off of your chest, might be someone else’s entertainment. The growth of the blog over the last 6 or 7 years has been tremendous, and according to one account, “over 120,000 posts are created daily.” (David Sifry, “The State of the Live Web” April 2007). Blogging is an amazing medium, and we should all learn the intricacies of it.
